CAIRNS: an Exclusive M.B. Baker track
M.B. Baker, AKA Michael Baker is a bedroom musician who has made an incredible record entitled: CAIRNS. It is yet to be released and we offered to master his stuff with LANDR to give it a final little polish.
We were really excited about the results. It was nice to hear our mastering work so well on such a delicate lo-fi recording.
He describes the record as such: .
..a kind of lo-fi folk, with some noise and drones, tape loops, broken pedals… and a CCR cover..
When not making albums in his room he is designing sound installation at Daily~Tous Les Jours (an amazing fellow Montreal arts company).
Check out the title track below, the falsetto section is reminiscent of the Beatles’ Long, Long, Long, that will be stuck in your head for weeks – guarantee it.
